Nearly 5 years after his grand opening in 2011, the demand among his Patrons was growing for Bobby to finally release a portfolio of works from Las Vegas. Weary of seeing the same scenes and sales recipes replicated over and over again in the galleries on the Vegas Strip, Bobby was skeptical to release a Vegas Series until he could do so in a way that had never been done before. In a bold move and massive departure from anything resembling the more prominent bodies of work at the time, Bobby released Las Vegas Triptych, the first image in what would become his Signature and Best-Selling Series - The Bobby Wheat Gallery Film Negatives Series.

Through a process in which his film is printed as negative rather than converting the negatives in the traditional sense, Bobby’s Film Negatives Series literally flipped the script on the way the world views the photographic medium. Showcasing the world in reverse, the exotic color palettes and almost Pop-Art Aesthetic became an instant hit among his Vegas Patrons, and his departure from the traditional perception of the photographic medium into a style all his own was solidified.

His Vegas-Centered extension of the Film Negatives Series - the Vegas Pop Series - would follow in 2021 launching Bobby’s career to a new level of success. Nearing the end of its edition of 25, Las Vegas Triptych is perhaps the most significant piece in the portfolio to date.
