MODERN ART FROM VINTAGE FILM
Real Moments in Time Photographed on FILM and Printed as Negatives
In 2016 having grown tired of seeing the same trends in every gallery on the Vegas Strip, Bobby wanted to change the way people experience the photographic medium and went and entirely different direction with his body of work. While his approach remained strictly analogue, his imagery would take a drastic turn towards modern minimalism, with abstract and reductive landscapes and in 2017 the birth of his signature and best-selling FILM NEGATIVES SERIES.

The Image that Changed Everything
In 2016, Bobby ventured to Hidden Light - A traditional dark room lab in Flagstaff Arizona to print a series of traditional platinum palladium and silver gelatin positives from film negatives. On the light table, one negative fascinated him, but each positive print felt wrong. After days of frustration, he realized the answer—print the negative exactly as he saw it. Using a slide film process, he made the first print, and the Film Negatives Series was born.
