Twin Temples | It has been said that time is the master of us all, but here on on the slopes of the largest alpine meadow in Europe is a scene that seems to have missed the memo. As it has for nearly 800 years, dawn illuminates the awe-inspiring Schlern Massif with the St. Valentin Chapel in its shadow. With a storied past and a name honoring the Christian Priest Valentine - from whom we get our holiday Valentine’s Day - this chapel’s earliest documented mention came in the year 1244 AD. And if the three things that endure are indeed faith, hope, and love, perhaps it is fitting that this monument - crafted to honor Valentine the patron saint of love as well as the inspirational surrounding landscape - is still standing like new after more than 284,000 sunrises in a location that is truly too beautiful to describe with words.

Live Inspired.
