Transcendent is the pre-planned result of two separate scenes exposed months and hundreds of miles apart on a single sheet of 4x5 film bringing an idea in theory to fruition and by extension marking a confluence of modern minimalism and traditional landscape - all with a profound narrative at its core. When we take the dark and unexposed and fill it with light, we become rooted in that which transcends time - in that which inspires us to rise above our circumstances.
