Primal Abstraction

Art was born in nature.  Nature creates in abstraction.  Large scale, non-representational form created through the expression of the earth's inner impulses and mood, compositional balance yet not true symmetry, minimal fields of color that evoke emotion, and a process in which we often marvel at the act of creating rather than at the creation itself. It wasn't until the 1900s that we placed a label on the oldest art movement in history.  Nature is the Primal Abstract Expressionist.
